ny times article on new global warming books...I feel like nothing has really taken shape, since we've figured out there's a problem. so many people (er, companies) just flat-out won't support emissions restrictions, and not enough people are stepping up to force them to. I want to go with the third guy interviewed on the video, and promote a "positive" approach to this problem.
the issue I have is that this stuff falls so, so easily into propoganda. I don't want leo dicaprio telling me with a "serious face" that the ice caps are melting while dramatic music booms behind him.*
I was pretty shocked to see that newt gingrich put out a book on environmental problems. (lolz, not rush limbaugh, as I originally wrote here.)
* I didn't even see this movie. the preview just annoyed me.
