the strongest impression I got from this story is sheer annoyance with hillary clinton. every time something like this happens, she has to come out and say "I would never have that priest/go to that church/cling to my faith" etc etc etc. it's so juvenile and simplistic.
however, I am hoping that obama will overcome this just like he did the reverend wright debacle - by making a fucking awesome speech, about the tactical bullshit that is driving different factions apart in this country. unlike these sniping fellow candidates, he actually has a broader understanding of the issues behind electoral politics - and hopefully, is willing to speak about it.
