it's gonna be a close one. given that obama raised an unprecedented $32 million in january and is now polling about 7% higher in Cali than two weeks ago, this race ought to be really interesting. I keep watching obama and listening to his speeches and feeling kind of, what's the word, hopeful. that we might have someone in power who doesn't want to divide, but to unite. whether or not it's a fairy-tale, as mr. clinton derisively said, it's damned appealing.
I did watch the very civil debate between mrs. clinton and mr. obama a few nights ago; I thought it was classy and was duly impressed by hillary's extensive knowledge of the political world. she was extremely specific in her plans, which temporarily tipped me in her direction...but I think obama is secretly superman, so I feel compelled to vote for him.
I really like the word "stumping."
